Transparency
Trust isn’t built with advertising. It is built with a structure that depends on no single person, where every rial can be traced.
Two fees that must never be confused
Bank fee
Practically zero
The gift rides on a transaction that was happening anyway. The cost of one bulk transfer is spread across millions of gifts.
Platform fee
Up to 10%, approved cap
Taken from new donations only, never from the Red Crescent’s budget. The high board approves the cap every year, and anything above it goes to the Red Crescent.
Governance
An independent entity
An independent entity builds and runs Baahamim; its structure depends on no individual.
A five-seat high board
Two seats for the Iranian Red Crescent and three independent seats.
A veto
The Red Crescent can veto any sponsor or partner.
An independent auditor
An independent auditor reviews the accounts, and periodic reports are published.
Safety of money and data
- No personal data of donors is stored
- An immutable ledger and a full audit trail
- The destination account is checked automatically before every transfer
- Money moves only on official banking rails, through a licensed facilitator
- Two independent penetration tests before large platforms join
Reports
Periodic reports and the partner table will be published on this page after the first settlement.
